What this policy covers
This Cookie Policy explains browser storage and similar technologies used by the Chatoner AI Conversations public website. The actual production configuration should be kept current as providers and purposes change.
Essential storage
Essential storage supports requested functionality and security. It may include cookie choice, theme, language, currency, time zone, session or navigation state, calculator and assessment state, and abuse-prevention information. Disabling essential storage may affect functionality.
Analytics storage
With the relevant consent, the website may use providers such as Google Analytics, Microsoft Clarity, Plausible, Fathom, or PostHog to understand page use, conversion paths, performance, and errors. Provider configuration should avoid sending sensitive form content, passwords, secrets, payment information, or private customer messages.
Marketing and embedded services
If marketing pixels, embedded calendars, video, maps, chat, or third-party widgets are added, they may set storage or receive technical information. Such providers should not load before the required consent and should be disclosed here. The current public site does not embed a scheduler. Its booking action opens an approved external booking service when available and otherwise offers the contact path; availability and confirmation remain with that external service and the accountable team.
Preference controls
The cookie interface allows visitors to use essential-only storage or enable analytics. A production implementation should allow visitors to reopen settings, withdraw consent, and update preferences. Browser controls can also clear or block storage, although doing so may reset site preferences.
Retention and updates
Different storage items have different lifetimes. Session items may expire when the browser closes; preferences may persist until cleared; analytics retention depends on provider configuration. Chatoner may update this policy when the website or provider set changes.
